PLANT START CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a great way to buy local & seasonal food, or plants, directly from your local farmer. It benefits the consumer by allowing a direct relationship to the farmer growing your food or plants, allowing you access to visiting the farm, and you get the freshest food & plants available, often picked the day you receive your share!  It also benefits the farmer by guaranteeing a certain amount of sales for the season, and by collecting money up front, which helps to cover seasonal costs.
Here at Alder Creek Botanicals, I am excited to offer a Plant Start CSA for gardeners of all skill levels. I have created a system that we feel will contribute to your garden dreams in a way that sets you up for growth & success! Every CSA share can be customized with add ons to fit your plans. All you have to do is prep your beds and garden areas in advance, and ready-to-plant starts will arrive at the perfect time in the season to plant them!
Here Is How It Works:
Below you will find descriptions of the different CSA packages I offer. Regardless of what package you choose, you will receive the plants you ordered throughout the season at one of our pickup locations. Our pickup locations will be based on the final CSA orders for the season, and there will be several options around the Portland area. Prior to each delivery, you will also receive an email with planting & care instructions, as well as a chance to customize or add on to the order. Exact delivery dates will vary based on the season's weather, but I aim to deliver plants when it is the ideal time for them to go in the ground. I start all of our plants from seed, all vegetable starts are started from certified organic seed stock. I never use any herbicides or pesticides on any of my plants, or in any of my soil mixes. Herb and flower starts are started with certified organic seed stock when accessible.
Along the way, I can always be reached by phone or email to answer questions, or if you'd like to arrange a visit to the farm.
